The Frederick
Church of Christ is excited to share with you information
about our Life Group ministry. The description is a
simple sketch of what Life Groups are and how they work. If

What
is a Life Group?
It is an intentional face-to-face gathering of 15 to 20 people meeting
regularly with a common purpose of:
Growing in
Christ through study of God's Word
Building
friendships while encouraging and serving one another
Reaching
out to people in the area with the love of Christ
Purpose
Groups meet to study the Bible, to discuss how to apply God's message
to their lives and to build meaningful, nurturing relationships.
By the end of each session everyone is challenged to answer the
question,"What difference will this make in my life?"
Life
Group Format
During the fall semester, Life Groups will meet weekly from the
first full week in Ocober 2009 through the week before Christmas.
During the month of January we will conduct sign up sessions for
the spring semester, which will begin in late January.

family configuration. This Life Group is for the whole
family-- Please bring your children; we'll have things
for them to do as well!

Description:
Have
you ever had trouble understanding the Book of Revelation?
This study will examine the Book of Revelation from a
viewpoint that John wrote the scripture so that people
of the time could understand its meaning.
This
video series by Dr. Ray Vanderlaan discusses events described
in the Bible at the locations that the events are believed
to have occurred. The goal is to gain some insight into
the roles location and local culture played in the events.
During the fall semester, this study will examine volume
5 of the series and will focus on events that occurred
in Jerusalem during the ministry of Jesus.
