We, here
at Frederick, are a growing body of believers looking for ways to
serve the needs of our own, as well as those of the community around
us. We encourage all of our members to be actively involved in ministry,
and there is always room for those who would love to be involved
in a serving church.
Below are
a couple of the ministries we offer:
|
| |
|
Men's
Ministry |
The
men of our congregation meet on several mornings during the week for
times of fellowship, study, and prayer at a local restaurant. And
they minister to each other in an annual Men's Retreat. |
Women's
Ministry |
The
women of our congregation have regular Ladies' Bible Classes for times
of study and prayer each week. Call for times. In addition, there
is an evening Ladies' Fellowship meeting in different homes on the
second Tuesday of each month, and a yearly Ladies' Retreat. |
Children's
Ministry |
Currently,
our children's ministry consists of interesting and exciting classroom
activities for children of all ages called Bible
Village. It's a great Bible learning experience. The classes meet
on Sunday morning at 10:00am and Wednesdays at 7:00pm. |
Life
Groups
Ministry |
Life
Groups offer an opportunity for our members to build solid and lasting
relationships that help shape each other more like Jesus. These weekly
small group Bible studies of 10-15 adults meet in homes throughout
Frederick and surrounding communities. More

Education
Ministry |
We
see that teaching has a vital role in passing on our faith in God,
so all of our members are encouraged to participate in the education
opportunities we offer during our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening
Services. Our congregation offers more than 20 classes a quarter,
including multiple adult classes. |
| Hearing
Impaired Ministry |
We
have signing during our Sunday morning assembly and adult Bible class
for those who are hearing impaired. We welcome all hearing impaired
members of our community to join us for our worship services. A warm
welcome awaits you! |
Outreach
Ministry |
One
of the purposes of the Church is to help meet the needs of those around
us, and we do this with our serving food at the Community Action Agency's
Soup Kitchen on the first Saturday of each month. We are also involved
in several other community outreach programs touching the lives of
those with special needs. |
|
Prison
Ministry
|
"Remember
those in prison..." (Hebrews 13:3) Men and women of the congregation
who participate are trained by the prison Chaplin and are allowed
to host semi-monthly services at the Frederick County Detention Center
and at the County Women's Detention Center. |
Youth
Ministry |
The
Youth Group is made up of our Junior and Senior High School students.
There are many monthly activities offered including activities designed
to meet all the different needs teens have from fellowship to worship
to service. More Info... |
